Time to wake up. Time to get going again

Here’s something I started a while back and finally finished earlier this month - a bit of fanart for Ninefox Gambit, the first book in one of my favorite series. I got to meet author Yoon Ha Lee this year, which was definitely a highlight of my year.

Going through my drawing tag, it looks like I made 4 posts this year, 2 of which were actually drawn in 2017. So not a great year for art. I have some unfinished sketches and personal comics, but not much more than what’s in this screencap. It sucks, but sometimes it just goes like that, I guess! 2018 was a bad combo of physical and mental health stuff, along with general busyness and stress.

But I want to make more of an effort to draw next year. I dunno if anyone is still following this blog for drawings, but if you are, thanks for sticking around! I hope there will be more to come.
